Do I need to be familiar with the game or have played VR before?

No. For a lot of the people participating in the tournament, this will be the first time they've played VR or played the Unspoken. The game is easy and quick to learn and uses intuitive motions - like throwing a ball. If you haven't played The Unspoken before, you'll get a chance to practice before you compete in the tournament.

Is this event kid friendly?

The Unspoken is rated PEGI 7 which means the game is suitable for all ages but contains some possibly frightening scenes or sounds. Learn more about the PEGI 7 rating.

There is an 8pm pub curfew for under-16s observed at the tournament. Following the group stages, the elimination rounds will be split up into under-16s and over-16s to make sure that those under 16 can compete before the 8pm curfew. PLEASE NOTE that that the tournament prize for the under-16s champion will be a £25 Steam voucher.
